Carmody has been playing ‘Like That’ for a while live, but that doesn’t make its official release any less exciting. The DIY singer-songwriter has grown out of the fantastic Tom Misch camp, and she is now making waves with her solo ballads. Whatever she’s doing is working, Carmody has already clocked up over 19 million plays on Spotify alone and sold out London’s Omeara show earlier this year. ‘Like That’ is no exception to her flawless repertoire – sultry and tender with minimal production enriching her earthy vocal.
